The CMC flow-wrapping line:
- has four rotary feeders for onserting and inserting, with a shuttle feeder for rigid and thick products
- processes sizes ranging from 100 x 120mm to 250 x 350mm
- handles products 1mm to 30mm thick
- runs up to 10,000 copies per hour
- uses online inkjet to print name and address details directly onto products before flow-wrapping
- includes an online, automated direct address label applicator.
The FBM flow-wrapping line:
- has eight rotary feeders for selective-intelligent and non-selective onserting and inserting, with a shuttle feeder for rigid and thick products
- processes documents ranging from oversize DLE to A4 publications
- handles products up to 16mm thick
- runs up to 4,000 copies per hour
- is capable of unique booklet personalisation and barcoding finished booklets via online inkjet heads on each of the rotary feeders, including coversheet printing and matching to personalised products via barcode recognition
- includes an online inkjet process for printing name and address details directly onto products before flow-wrapping.
The Avery label printer and applicator:
- creates thermal labels (45 x 90mm) using roll-to-roll single-colour print production at 300dpi. It can incorporate address details, logos, permit details and return addresses and record number ID barcodes for ‘gone no address’ processing
- includes a roll-to-product label applicator with a product sensor trigger
- runs up to 5,000 labels per hour.
We also manage variable data production using:
- a Xerox iGen3 – a high-speed, full-colour digital printer designed for variable image and data production. It prints on stock weighing up to 350gsm, with a maximum sheet size of 364 x 571mm.
- an Oce Varioprint 6250 – the world’s fastest cut-sheet duplex, black and white digital printer at 15,000 impressions per hour. The machine can print on stock ranging from 48gsm to 300gsm up to SRA3 (320 x 450mm) in size
- a Xerox 6180 – ideal for black and white variable data production, managing a maximum sheet size of 440 x 307mm and completing up to 10,000 impressions per hour
- a Xerox Docucolour 8000 – for production-quality full-colour variable data production, printing on stock weights up to 300gsm to a maximum SRA3 sheet size
